Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience working in the consumer electronics industry, including procurement and/or supply chain management.
- Experience working with commodities (e.g., plastics, CNC, glass, forging, painting, plating, die-cuts and sheet metal).
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in global supply chain management and consumer electronics.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering and Product teams.
- Experience in new technology and supplier development.
- Experience collaborating with supplier management in various geographies.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Excellent communication, sourcing, consultation, and collaboration skills.

As a Global Supply Chain Manager, you will use your industry knowledge and supplier relationships to optimize our total cost of ownership for Google Hardware. In this role, you'll also work on the custom supply chain for mechanical parts. You will execute the team’s material acquisition strategy and work closely with the Engineering and Operations teams to ensure material and part availability throughout the product life.

- Execute on mechanical parts strategies developed jointly with Google's Hardware team.
- Drive suppliers to ensure material availability and readiness for the product builds and steady state production.
- Manage end-of-line decisions for mechanical components.
- Identify and execute on cost-down initiatives.
- Assist with new product ramps as requested.
