As a Global Supply Planning Intern for the Point of Care Diagnostics Business., you will be responsible for: o Support the global roll-out of an APS- Advanced Planning system for all sites in SHS POC and OEM partners. o Work collaboratively with supply chain leaders at all sites to understand business needs and ensure these are built into the solutions delivery roadmap. o Work with Production planners to map out process for all manufacturing product lines. o Support the design, delivery, and testing sessions for supply planning implementation. o Support creation of a change management strategy. This position may suit you best if you are familiar or have direct experience with some or all of the topics listed below and would like to develop your career with Siemens Healthineers: • Prior experience with a Supply Planning System implementation. • Knowledge of supply planning approaches across all aspects of supply planning (e.g., network capacity planning, production planning, DRP, MRP, finite scheduling), informed by prior roles and ongoing education of cross-industry practices (e.g., concurrent planning). • Experience with a hybrid approach of self-manufactured finished goods as well as contract manufacturing. • Ability to present and influence. • Ability to interpret and communicate both business and functional needs and impacts. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively depending on project needs. Requirements for this role: • Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program or equivalent with a planned graduation in the next 12-24 months. • Experience in Supply Chain Management with a focus on improvement projects is desirable. • Willing to travel up to 20% when required to support ongoing projects. • Must be comfortable working onsite while following company-mandated COVID-19 protocol, as well as working in a fully virtual environment.
