This is a Global Trainee role, reporting to Sales support Manager in Business Area Robotics & Discrete Automation.
Your responsibilities
- Analyzing customer requirement from vision perspective, making trial test, vision proposal, design and delivering the committed vision performance accordingly in the project execution phase.
- Being able to qualify vision related supplier and outsourced vision engineering capability.
- Completing the PC software development based on vision SDK and/or robot SDK in a predefined time period.
- Doing vision application development for assembly, measurement, positioning, inspection, vision integration application system test, debugging and analysis.
- Supporting electric and robotics programing or test. Traveling and testing on site (including overseas) according to project schedule. Preparing technical documentation.
- Organizing on site customer training and continuing to improve site training efficiency and effectiveness. Doing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Providing prompt feedback and troubleshooting to the customers.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical, automation or software related fields.
- Must have programming experience in C# or C++ and development experience using smart camera or PC-based vision such as Cognex/Halcon/NI is preferred.
- Must be familiar with Light, lens, image processing and analysis.
- Sound knowledge and experience in robotics and PLC/ HMI/sensor/ servo motor.

- Must be open-mind, energetic, hardworking, proactive, a team player and have a sense of accountability and ownership.
