The Manager of eCommerce Incubation will focus on the customer and determine opportunities to solve customer needs, invent on behalf of the customer, and deliver customer growth. The role will span from long-term strategic priority and planning to emerging industry trends, analysis of expansion opportunities, competitive dynamics and globalization. The person in this role will need to have a solid grasp on the Lenovo e-commerce business as well as the marketplaces we serve. From solving problems to consensus building, this individual should have the ability to engage from strategy to execution in a matrixed environment. This role is a key contributor to the B2C e-commerce segment and incubation team, where we execute on business development activities (partners, products, etc), incubation of new and innovative programs and projects, identification of marketplace disrupters, and ongoing evolution of our e-commerce organization to stay relevant in an ever changing customer landscape. Specific responsibilities include: • Deliver key inputs for the build-up and execution of new incubation initiatives • Build modeling to demonstrate strategic opportunity, including investment and revenue • Identify unchartered target segments based on total addressable market segments that map to what Lenovo delivers today or will deliver in the future • Help evolve a set of solutions and products that over a period of time will position competitively, and in many cases help drive stickiness of the Lenovo offering over the web. • Proactively identify and mitigate issues and potential obstacles in meeting your business objectives #### Position Requirements: Position Requirements: • BA/BS with at least 5 years combined experience working in the e-commerce space in various capacities. Preferred qualifications: MBA while not mandatory is highly preferred. • Understanding of business and marketing strategy; use of competitive data and owned differentiators to establish a value proposition that resonates. • Experience with sales and conversion goals. • Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate the success of key site changes/enhancements. • Expertise in articulating innovative concepts from customer journey to new products. • Superb conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to formulate a plan with high attention to detail and desire to drive that plan through to completion. • An optimist, comfortable with ambiguity, passionate about helping shape the future for the best through constant improvement and willing to take risks.
