What You’ll Do

The Marketing Technologist role will bring marketing expertise in combination
with technology savvy in order to bring Lenovo marketing strategies and
programs to life. This critical role will leverage these unique capabilities
to drive traffic and revenue and maximize customer lifetime value. The
Marketing Technologist will leverage his/her knowledge of data, platforms,
analytics and marketing programs including SEO/SEM, email and social. This
role operates within our global eCommerce team responsible for developing
digital marketing strategy and setting the foundation for success across
geographies.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and nurture relationships with geography marketing teams and other
key stakeholders to understand business needs and to maximize achievement of
goals
• Identify common reporting needs across geos that provide in-depth analysis
for digital marketing campaigns and make actionable recommendations consistent
with digital marketing goals and KPIs
• Work cross-functionally to compile and communicate key insights and offer
recommendations to stakeholders
• Support marketing initiatives through marketing process automations that
streamline the E2E campaign process, identify and resolve bottlenecks in
technology or processes
• Support the build of email campaign automations leveraging knowledge of
Marketo, landing page development, forms, and the CMS platform
• Build audiences in marketing platforms to support program consistency,
efficiency and effectiveness
• Achieve data driven approach to program optimization and strategy
implementation
• Support creation and process for campaign IDs, lead source codes, tag
implementation, etc. to ensure marketing programs are reported properly and
optimized as required
• Stay abreast of digital and traditional marketing trends, including
marketing technology, to support the evolution of Lenovo’s marketing
capabilities
• Research and implement marketing technologies that align to our marketing
strategies and support business growth, drive business cases and align with
geography teams
• Develop business cases to support new marketing strategies, budget requests,
projects, and marketing plans
• Lead solution evaluations with appropriate stakeholders to define business
requirements, timelines and influence technical specifications to ensure tools
and systems effectively enable marketing operations
• Leverage and co-ordinate with external agencies and other internal teams to
accomplish objectives

#### Position Requirements:


• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, analytics or related field
•  3-5 years of experience in digital marketing or analytics
• Strong proficiency with Google and Adobe solutions including Marketo,
Experience Manager and Analytics
• In-depth knowledge of emerging digital concepts and trends with the ability
to translate that knowledge into actionable recommendations
• Strong analytical skills with ability to communicate complex or technical
concepts
• Ability to develop creative marketing solutions leveraging technology
capabilities
• Strong understanding of tagging tools, best practices, taxonomy and
governance
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Expert ability to deliver on multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun and entrepreneurial environment
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail and outstanding time management
skills
• Strong project management and process orientation
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with ability to speak
effectively to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment
• Enthusiastic to learn to new marketing technologies or find innovative ways
to apply existing tools
