Job Description
Position Description: Data is the foundation that drives eCommerce experiences and business decisions, the Global eCommerce Product Data Specialist is responsible for improving data programs solutions for Lenovo.com and with wider corporate data projects. Acting as a liaison between business and IT groups, this individual will demonstrate a robust knowledge of internal systems, business objectives and direction in order to provide measured output of key data metrics than drive the buying experience on Lenovo.com. This role will require project management skills, the ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing at a senior business leadership and executive level, and a passion for problem solving. Responsibilities include developing business/IT requirements, assessing the impact of system and process changes, maintain system and process documentation, track KPIs, and provide direction to ensure the best approach to how we improve customer facing and product data that drives Lenovo.com site navigation.  This is a global role requiring work across multiple time zones, cultures, languages, internal and external business groups. #### Position Requirements: • track KPIs, provide direction to ensure the best approach to how we improve customer facing data and product data that drives Lenovo.com site navigation. • Coordinate with business and IT leadership to develop data solutions that address business goals • Develop complex requirements for process or systems solutions which will span across multiple business domains • Create business cases then prioritize and coordinate across multiple functional areas • Maintain a comprehensive understanding on how data elements are leveraged on Lenovo.com and how changes impact both business and IT • Delegate task to specialized co-workers and provide feedback • Track, strategize, and aid in the evolution of data elements on Lenovo.com • Coordinate across teams to drive solutions to completion • Maintain business management systems designed around data governance and management • Support solution integration, acceptance testing and providing post implementation support • Maintain working relationships with third party vendors, evaluate their solutions, and engage in contract negotiations when necessary • Conduct or oversee business-specific projects • Develop work plans to meet business priorities and deadlines • Provide plans and reporting to executive leadership • Lead review and interlock meetings for various stakeholders • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results Skills/experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or related field • 2-3 ecommerce/online product marketing or other Biz/IT roles • Experience with designing and analyzing information architecture • Ability to summarize and present complex technical concepts for a variety of business and executive stakeholders • Experience with Jira, MS Office products • eCommerce platform and SAP experience is a plus • Experience understating integrations with Content Management Solutions • Proven content presentation skills • Strong project management and process orientation • Experience working on cross-functional project teams • Experience in business case development and analysis • Agile development experience • User story documentation • Independent and Analytical • Ability to collaborate in a heavily matrixed environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
