Golf Operations Supervisor (Full Time)
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Fairmont Golf team, on a full time basis, as a Golf Operations Supervisor. In this role you will play an integral part of the golf operations team, by leading and supervising the team, to ensure the smooth delivery of all aspects of the day to day golf operation and ensuring exceptional service delivery to our golfing guests.

What you will be doing:
- Constantly offers professional, friendly and engaging service
- Leading and supervising the golf team to achieve results in all areas of the golf operation
- Take advantage of upselling opportunities in order to generate additional sales on service and retail items
- To follow all established shop procedures, including those for payment processing, handling customer complaints, opening and closing, health and safety, security etc.
- Prepare and distribute timely rotas ensuring business needs are being met
- To provide assistance and guidance to guests and fellow golf team members
- Talking golf reservations for all guests, using Fairmont values, promises and service standards
- Monitors on course pace of play in accordance with pace of play guidance
- Coordinates daily golf cart request ensuring adequate supply in staging area at all times
- Assists with end of month stock takes
- Liaise with the Greens staff to ensure that they are always aware of all play and issues related to their requirements
- Assist in all operational duties when business levels require
- Collation of retail/operational revenue figures, which are to be distributed in daily, weekly and end of month reports
- Other jobs at the request of the Golf Operations Manager
Your experience and skills include:
- Must play golf or have a good understanding of the game
- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible and reliable
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
- Ability to focus attention on guests needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Your team and working environment:
- Constant standing and walking throughout shift
- Shifts will be during the day and weekend
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining UK work authorization.
