Golf Pride is currently seeking a Global Sales Manager – Channel Partners to join our team. This position is based at our Pinehurst, NC location. Relocation will be provided within the United States. Position Overview Golf Pride® Grips, #1 golf grip brand worldwide, aims to further strengthen our sales team, and the global brand, with the assistance of an experienced and passionate Global Sales Manager focusing on growth with our channel partners. This individual will be responsible for the creation and execution of our business development strategies for our trade and distribution partners around the globe overseeing a team of regional direct reports. This role will focus on growth with trade accounts at green grass (golf courses), independent off-course golf retailers, and new non-traditional trade account targets. The position reports directly to the Global Head of Sales and will have the freedom to build and execute Golf Pride’s long-term channel strategy within this space. Activating new points of sale at both traditional and non-traditional trade locations will be a critical element to driving organic growth in this space, and it will be a focal point of the role. Additionally, the incumbent will be tasked with driving incremental growth via accelerating the sales velocity with current partners, developing creative go-to-market strategies, and maximizing return on investment associated with program and promotional campaigns. The ideal candidate is passionate about the game of golf - and has a proven track-record of driving organic growth, strategic planning & execution, and effectively leading high performing teams Develop and own the long-term strategic plan to drive sustainable growth within the channel. Achieve annual global sales objectives. Identify, prospect, and activate new points of sales in all regions globally. Partner with the Marketing team to develop compelling visual campaigns, tools, and market promotions tailored for the various markets we serve to drive increased sales. Design and Optimize new go-to-market models, channel structures, and functional support necessary to drive organic growth in all regions and markets we serve globally. Develop, coach, and implement the practical utilization of standard sales metrics. Utilize interactive analytics dashboards to generate actionable insights and programs that drive incremental growth and mitigate risk. Partner with SIOP team leads to ensure accurate demand planning, and drive forecast accuracy accountability from your team. Identify and track pertinent business intelligence elements within the marketplace to drive ongoing SWOT awareness and assessments. Build partnerships internally and externally that support growing the business. Partner with customer service team leads to ensure we are offering a world class experience. Clearly communicate expectations, continually raise the bar, and consistently hold self and employees accountable for performance, such that the team members contribute fully across the enterprise and not just in their specific location. Effectively manage market development fund budget to maximize program ROI. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum of five (5) years of sales management and business development experience Minimum of three (3) years of experience managing a team of direct reports Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship both now and in the future Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in global markets and customers outside of the US Experience working in the consumer goods industry Experience managing a global team Authentic connection to the game of golf Master’s degree in Business, from an accredited institution 7+ years of Sales Management / Business Development experience Position Criteria: Proven track record of leveraging a “growth mindset” to consistently meet and exceed objectives. Desire to travel up to 25% domestic and internationally. Build strong relationships with key cross functional stakeholders internally and externally.
