Job Description

Objetive: Support interactions between Business units of the company and the three levels of government, responsible for issuing bills; propose and implement strategies concerning industry position, negotiation and application of trade agreements; monitoring and attention to the topics of the industry in the congress; as well as to interact with chambers and association of the industry to maintain the positioning of Daimler Group brands; maximizing opportunities as directed under the strategies set by the External Affairs Director and Daimler Management.

Must Qualifications:
 
- Extensive experience in public and private sector and lobbying.

- Knowledge of the regulatory framework and International trades (Federal and State)

- Mobility to travel

- Extensive experience in leadership and co cretion skills

Academic Knowledge: Foreign Relations, International Relations, Law, Political Science, or any other related  carrier.

Main Functions
 
1. Establish and promote healthy relationships with Federal, State and municipal authorities and Congress (Lawmakers) to ensure company goals with best practices and alignment to company policies.

2. Negotiate with authorities the modification of processes and/or regulations which allow a more efficient operation of the company.

3. Identify tendencies of public policies that could affect the company in a positive or negative way.

4. Negotiate and promote the fulfillment of Government commitments in a timely manner to fulfill company goals and operations (e.g. incentives commitments).

5. Negotiate through the chambers and associations the topics where Daimler and the industry have interest.

6. Support to the External Affairs Director the Plan and strategies to drive, regulations and trade agreements issues in benefit of the company with strict alignment to policies and procedures.

7. Support to the Daimler's Plants with local authorities, to ensure their goals with best practices and alignment to company policies.

8. Support to CSR in order to promote interest of municipal, state and federal government in Daimler projects to achieve company goals and benefit locations where Daimler has presence.
