Then come and join our global team as Manager Government Affairs and Policy EU to strengthen and support the EU and Policy Team based in Brussels Your tasks and responsibilities: Within the EMEA GP team, you will be the lead for Siemens Healthineers´ positioning and contribution to key global health events (like: World Health Assembly, World Health Summit, World Economic Forum etc.). Provide support to the team working on Africa, developing outreach to policymaker audiences, establishing contacts and reinforcing existing networks. Develop briefings and presentations for internal and external meetings of upper management and board members. Represent Siemens Healthineers actively and impactfully. Participate in strategic representation activities and liaise with external stakeholders. Organize and attend events, panel discussions or information sessions on behalf of Siemens Healthineers. Build up and sustain a network of stakeholders in relevant political institutions and the related stakeholder environment. Your qualifications and experience: 8 to 10 years of experience in corporate and/or policy communications, ideally combined with event organisation (e.g., in political institutions, in NGOs, in industry associations or in a Government Affairs unit of a company, in a public affairs consultancy or a similar role) Good knowledge of global health issues, access to care and the specificities of the African continent. The following attributes describe you: strong collaborative and teamwork skills, problem-solving and decision-making attitude, passion for politics, excellent written and oral communication skills, keen interest in technologies, familiar with major Siemens relevant businesses. Ability to interact effectively with colleagues and counterparts at all levels of the company, both within the Corporate Communications team and across the larger matrixed organization. Self-directed with proven ability to meet tight deadlines and balance multiple initiatives with competing priorities. Fluent English skills and good German skills are essential, any other additional language is a plus.
