Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will work within Amgen’s Contract Development and Manufacturing (ACDM) organization to support the manufacture of critical and lifesaving drugs and treatments and enable Amgen to deliver to every patient every time.

  • Responsibility 1 – Build relationships across the ACDM group
  • Responsibility 2 – Understand the key role of the ACDM organization within Amgen.
  • Responsibility 3 – Using analytical, leadership, and interpersonal skills, the intern will work cross-functionally to develop a process to standardize pricing models for upcoming drug substance products within the ACDM portfolio.
  • Responsibility 4 – Work closely with project supervisor to complete the project on time and in full and provide regular updates to ACDM Leadership.
  • Responsibility 5 – Report out on project once complete to the wider ACDM Organization.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a
  • Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR
  • Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree concentration(s): The Sciences (Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences, Physics, Bioprocessing, Engineering), Business Administration, Business Information and Technology, Computer Science, Data Science.
  • Proficiency in using Smartsheet, Tableau Software, and Microsoft Excel preferred
