Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will create a new External Supply Portal centralizing performance metrics data and data analytics reports, using tableau or any other visualization according to City Planning Technology.

The ideal candidate enjoys tackling challenges and excels at organizing information from numerous sources to provide well-constructed deliverables.

This may include, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Working with large quantities of data to enable general workflows such as data processing, cleaning, and labeling.
  • Developing, enhancing, automating, and managing analytics models
  • Creating striking visualizations to aid in data interpretation and usage
  • Demonstrating modeling and visualization approaches as part of proof-of-concept projects
  • Demonstrating data science and analytic expertise
  • Ability to deliver work and provide positive leadership in a fast-paced, multi-project team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in highly collaborative, cross-functional environments

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

  • 18 years or older
  • Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
  • Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a
  • Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR Ph.D. for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR
  • Master’s OR Pharm D OR Ph.D. program before the internship starts
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
  • Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other quantitative discipline
  • Application experience with data visualization tools or packages as well as information management and maintenance in portals, such as SharePoint, Smartsheets, Python, SQL and Tableau
  • Experience with basic statistical/analytical techniques
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intellectual curiosity with ability to learn new concepts/frameworks, algorithms and technology rapidly as needs arise
  • Passion for proactively identifying opportunities through customer service interactions
  • Independent, self-motivated, organized, able to multi-task in project environments, and skilled in communication, facilitation, and collaboration.
  • Team player, prepared to work in and embrace a team-based culture that relies on collaboration for effective decision-making
