Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. During this program, you will enable Amgen’s commercial organization to accelerate staff development by overseeing the creation of a new career pathing tool designed to focus staff on achieving the best work experiences to succeed to capstone leadership roles.
Partner with US and regional HR business partners and Amgen’s L&D organization to assess career pathing needs across GCO
Distill client needs down to a manageable set of aspirational capstone roles
Develop and socialize proposed career pathing tools/templates, and partner with HR and line leaders to populate with critical competencies and experiences
Propose a plan for Amgen to store and update career paths over time
Develop and execute launch plan to disseminate paths to GCO staff

Basic Qualifications
Amgen requires that all individuals applying for a grad internship or a co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:
18 years or older
Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent
Currently enrolled in an MBA program for an MBA internship OR a Master’s program for a Master’s internship OR a PharmD program for a PharmD internship OR PhD for a PhD internship from an accredited college or university and completion of the first year of MBA OR Master’s OR Pharm D OR PhD program before internship starts
Enrolled in an accredited college or university following the potential internship or co-op assignment
Must not be employed at the time the internship starts
Preferred Qualifications
Degree concentration(s) in Human Resources Management and/or IO
1-3 years of prior full-time HR experience in health care or high tech
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
