Responsibilities may be quite diverse of a technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
This is an internship and compensation will be given accordingly based on canddiate education level and internship duration.
Requirements listed would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.
Performs research, design and development of Test Hardware Tooling, fixture, module and peripheral collaterals tooling
Performs hardware tooling technology pathfinding, architecture development, material assessment, test parameters definition, design reviews conduct, designing test/fixture, performing fixture acceptance, debugging test/fixture, resolving design and implementation issues, performs testability and fault coverage analysis
Perform hardware tooling meeting production quality and reliability requirement, and updating test/fixture as needed through product life cycle.
Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgment on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters in Mechanical/Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent Technical of work/school experience in related field with 6+ months of experience.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing tooling development supporting new product introduction and product test tooling
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in Solid Works, AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis, Geometric Dimensioning Tolerance, Basic Statistic, lab metrology and instruments for 1+ year
Advanced knowledge of manufacturing tooling development supporting new product introduction and product test tooling
Advanced knowledge in design for manufacturability environment in handling test tooling, kit handlers, semiconductor testing and lean manufacturing skills are added advantage.
Basic knowledge in Solid Works, AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis, Geometric Dimensioning Tolerance, Basic Statistic, lab metrology and instruments for 6+ months
Basic knowledge in design for manufacturability environment in handling test tooling, kit handlers, semiconductor testing and lean manufacturing skills are added advantage.

$52,000.00-$147,000.00
