Job Description

The mission of the Technology Exploration (TE) group is to develop and scale new businesses leveraging Intel's competitive advantages. TE is a fast paced dynamic and startup like organization. The TE portfolio includes SW Solutions and SaaS businesses.

We are seeking college graduate interns to join the Inteon team in the Incubation Disruptive Innovation team. As a Software Engineer, you will be working closely with senior members of an internal technology start-up. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position.

Responsibilities include assisting senior developers with C/C++ code testing, code compilation, development environment scripting, cloud infrastructure configuration, quality assurance and performance testing.


This is a 4-6 month internship and requires the candidate to work virtually remotely until otherwise indicated. Support sites are Santa Clara CA, Folsom CA, Hillsboro OR, or Chandler AR. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.


Qualifications

Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • You must be pursuing a Graduate degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or a related field of study and keep the student status during the whole internship
  • Experience in C or C++ coding
  • Experience in Code optimization for efficient HW performance
  • Experience in Python and General Scripting languages
  • Experience working with AWS Cloud
  • Experience working Linux OS


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Intern Experiences on relevant areas/roles

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
