Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school. With the Physical Design Team, you'll be surrounded by some of the brightest minds/engineers in the world as we are responsible for RTL to GDS/Tapeout includes synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, static timing analysis and physical verification.

The responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Responsible for RTL to GDS

• Tapeout includes synthesis, place and route

• Clock tree synthesis

• Static timing analysis and physical verification

This internship position has a length of 9 to 12 months with the possibility to extend it as per business' needs.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering or other related field.
Minimum of 6+ months experience in any of the following:

• TCL or Python

• Circuit design

• Physical Design

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$52,000.00-$147,000.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
