During the Internship you will get real-world experience with ownership of projects from day one, as well as the opportunity to develop a network inside and outside of Intel.
You will specifically be responsible for the following activities including, but not limited to:
Performing customer issue reproduction and debug in Intel's lab environment.
Setting up systems for performance benchmark testing, including installing drives and RAID cards, setting BIOS configuration, installing OS, software, and benchmarking tools and databases.
Executing performance benchmarking of Intel servers, SSDs, and software.
Assembling and configuring new server platforms.
Updating system BIOS and SSD firmware.

This is a 1-year internship, with a possibility of extension. The role will be part time when school is in session and full time during the rest of the year.
Qualifications
You must possess the minimum qualifications listed below to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
This PRC position is open to Taiwan Workers only. A Taiwan Worker is someone who is either a Taiwan Citizen, Taiwan National, Taiwan Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the Taiwan Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
6+ months of experience or equivalent coursework in the following areas: Linux, Software/Script Development and Debugging.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Customer Interfacing, Computer Hardware Setup, Enterprise/Cloud Environments, Caching Software, SSDs, NVMe, RAID, and Software Defined Storage.
Experience in Project Management / Product Management / Product Marketing.
