Carburos Metalicos, a subsidiary of Air Products and is currently recruiting for a Supply Chain internship with the aim to go permanent on the Graduate Career Development programme in October 2020.  Air Products is a world-leading Industrial Gases company in operation for over 75 years. The Company’s core industrial gases business provides atmospheric and process gases and related equipment to manufacturing markets, including refining and petrochemical, metals, electronics, and food and beverage. Air Products is also the world’s leading supplier of liquefied natural gas process technology and equipment.

Our three-year Graduate Programme in Supply Chain is structured to give you the greatest opportunity to kick-start your career through three different assignments within European expert teams in Barcelona, Brussels and London. These assignments will accelerate your learning and test your analytical skills and creativity in key supply chain areas such as S&OP, network planning, inventory management, logistics optimisation, production scheduling, offerings segmentation in collaboration with marketing. You will acquire lean/sigma skills and be involved in process and tool re-engineering projects applying the latest optimisation techniques.
You will receive a healthy remuneration package which will be discussed at the interview stage.
 
 
Your qualification and skills – what we’d like you to have
You are in your final year and are available for a work placement from April, or have recently graduated from a well-respected European university, with a related degree subject (Chemical or Industrial Engineer). You have a genuine passion and interest in analytics and supply chain, as this role will require you to work with various data analysis and optimisation platforms.  You possess excellent communication and initiative taking skills as you will be engaged with various teams across Europe.
The home contract is in Spain therefore apart from fluent English you will also need to speak and write fluent Spanish.  Any other European language is useful.
