Job purpose

This role is responsible for documenting and executing manual and automated test cases to ensure that the enterprise applications meet product specification and user requirements.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Create and execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, accuracy and efficiency of software applications
• Configure the testing environment and network
• Find and report bugs with detailed, accurate and concise steps to engineering teams in bug tracking system
• Report detailed test results
• Work closely with the engineering team and the project manager to refine requirements and create testing strategies
  

 Requirements

• University degree in CS/IE/EE/CE or equivalent 
• Knowledge in Windows and Linux
• Knowledge in computer networking, Internet and IP technologies
• Knowledge of scripting language - Shell script, Python, Javascript
• Experiences on embedded devices and video compression/streaming technologies (i.e. MPEG, DVB, CAS, DRM etc.) is an advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
