The products we feature on Gshopper come with a great deal of thought, care and smarts.

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who will push our creative team to a new level. You must have the ability to work from concept to completion. Must have experience in designing high quality packaging and strong skills in creating brand identities. The designer will mainly be working remotely under the guidance of the Creative Director (based in Los Angeles, California), must be highly collaborative and work with creative and product development teams. This role will be responsible for a range of tasks including digital illustration, photography, and retouching.

Responsibilities

? Create inspiring and innovative ideas for compelling packaging design.

? Review proposed designs with Creative Director to ensure design aesthetics and requirements are met.

? Execute product branding by developing and managing consistent guidelines across core product lines, seasonal campaigns and promotions.

? Partner with product development team to achieve the highest level of quality for each project – understanding limitations due to timing, costs, etc.

? Research current and past design trends across various industries in order to inform our design.

Requirements

? Art direction / graphic design background

? 4+ years experience in print, packaging and/or branding

? Professional, organized, detail-oriented and work efficiently under rapid deadlines

? Strong understanding of various materials, printing processes, color, and typography

? Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects

? Working remotely via WeChat, email, and video with other designers in Shanghai, Seoul, and Los Angeles

? 3D rendering knowledge is a plus

? Interest in product/industrial design is nice to have
