Key Accountabilities

? To support design manager to provide creative & design needs elaborated by the marketing department

? To assist in the creation and design of Advertising, Branding, Visual Identity, Displays, POP and other marketing collateral. This includes print, digital, video and 3D media

? To share and present creative ideas by mood boards, sketches, renderings

? To assist with creative presentations to management and internal teams

? To research competitors, relevant materials and suppliers required for each of the company's projects

? Provide a complete, professional and comprehensive in-house off and online graphic design and multimedia service for internal and external customers and partnership organizations, aligned to organizations overall Marketing Strategy and associated departmental Service Level Agreement.

? Provide an inhouse film and photographic service at SYPTE events and photo calls, for use in either the Executive’s literature or for marketing and media related communications activity.

? Provide a range of multimedia design services to professional standards using appropriate multimedia and graphic design hardware, software such as Photoshop, Director, Flash, Dreamweaver, Flex and 3D animation and peripheral devices using both Mac and PC based platforms.

? Provide cover for design and print related areas within the team as appropriate to ensure continuity of services and maintain the provision of associated design and print functions for our customers, aligned to organizations overall Marketing Strategy and associated departmental Service Level Agreement.

? Assist in ensuring that the corporate standard sets for the production of corporate, promotional and marketing material and brand utilization are adhered to, and continually provide guidance and support to employees at all levels in this regard.

Knowledge and Skills

? Four GSCE’s including English and Maths (A to C) or equivalent – Essential

? Professional sector knowledge – Applies policy and practice– Essential

? BTEC in Graphic Design or equivalent – Essential

? Preferably working towards a recognized multimedia design qualification – Desirable

? Computer literacy skills - Ability to work effectively on both PC and AppleMac based platforms - Essential

? Literacy skills – Effectively communicates via written media - Essential

? Project management skills – Manages own contribution to project success – Essential
