Job Description

Xe Architecture and Engineering team (XAE) is responsible for delivering industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute, and Display) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems.

We are looking for a Graphics Hardware Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring platform and its components have the best performance and power balance specifically focusing on graphics hardware components

  • Researching and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the performance

  • Conducting system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms, develops advanced hardware tuning and overclocking

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly

Minimum Education & Experience:

A Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field with 3+ months experience in more, or more of the following areas:

  • Logic design, architecture, Verilog, System Verilog (OR) Software Development

  • UNIX and Windows knowledge

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a directly related field

  • Strong skills pertaining to logic design and verification.

  • Knowledge of test bench architecture, transactors and coverage based verification

  • Experience with test content development, execution and debug.

  • Experience with programming / scripting languages like Python, Perl, C/C++Strong skills pertaining to logic design and verification.

  • Experience with logic verification Pre-Si validation; pre-silicon validation UNIX and Windows

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$84,060.00-$126,320.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
