Job Description

The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) is focused on the strategic growth areas of high-performance computing and graphics for Intel. Within AXG, the Custom Compute Group (XCC) is chartered with providing custom and differentiated silicon/platform solutions to our customers for emerging use-cases, in adjacent as well as new market segments.  This team is charter to deliver best in class memory solutions for client and discrete graphics projects.  

This position is for a Graphics Hardware Engineer in the areas of memory (SRAM/Register File) and custom circuits design for AXG graphics team developing GPUs. In this position you will be working in a team responsible for delivering high quality custom circuits designs for multiple projects.

You would also be working on technical readiness involving circuit simulations and would be responsible for implementing as well as converging the design (including noise and RV) while meeting high circuit quality.

The responsibilities may also include coming up with innovative design implementations with focus on optimizing power, performance and area. The role would require strong communication, problem solving, time management and multitasking skills.


Qualifications

Minimums skills and experience:

Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with 1+ years of Industry experience.  Or a master’s in the same field with 3+ months of educational or industry experience, degree must be completed by August 2022.  

Your experience must be in the following:

  • SRAM / Register file
  • Circuit design

Preferred skills and experience:

  • Relevant experience should be in CMOS circuit Design. Hands on experience in RF/SSA design with knowledge of static timing analysis will be a big plus.
  • Knowledge of layout as well as scripting knowledge in Perl/TCL/python and experience with UNIX will be an added advantage.
