Job Description

In Xe Architecture IP Engineering (XAE) our mission is to deliver best in class Graphics, Compute, Multi-Media and Display IP on schedule with maniacal focus on performance per watt and performance per area with state of art features covering client, gaming and data center market. The Graphics HW Validation group is within XAE that is responsible for verification of the Gfx pipeline. We are looking for Graphics Hardware Intern to join our team.

 

As an intern you will be responsible for the following:

  • Pre-silicon verification of Intel graphics cores, focusing on 3D, Compute and Memory Fabric.
  • Improvement/creation of tools/scripts to assist in the validation of Intel graphics cores.
  • Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the IP performance.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

Minimum skills:
Must be pursuing Bachelors' degree in Electrical/ Computing Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.

3+ month of educational or work experience in the following:

  • Logic design, architecture, or logic verification
  • Pre -Si Validation, Verilog, System Verilog or verification methodologies (OVM/UVM, etc.)

 

Availability for 3+ months internship

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship. Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with three years' related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
