In Xe Architecture IP Engineering (XAE) our mission is to deliver best in class Graphics, Compute, Multi-Media and Display IP on schedule with maniacal focus on performance per watt and performance per area with state of art features covering client, gaming and data center market. The Graphic HW Performance Validation group is within XAE that is responsible for verification of the Gfx pipeline.
We are looking for Graduate Intern - Graphics Hardware to join our team.
As an intern you will be responsible of the following:
- Pre-silicon verification of Intel graphics cores, focusing on 3D, Compute and Memory Fabric.
- Improvement/creation of tools/scripts to assist in the validation of Intel graphics cores.
- Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve the IP performance.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school work/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Master's/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Availability to work at least 32 hours per week
- Advanced English level
- Willing to remain as an active student for at least 6 months
6+ months of educational or work experience in the following areas:
- Logic design, architecture, and logic verification Verilog, System Verilog UNIX and Windows
- Programming / scripting languages like C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python
Preferred Requirements:
- Pre-Si validation, verification methodologies (OVM/UVM)
- Skills pertaining to logic design and validation, including expertise in VCS simulator,

Work Model for this Role
This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
