Job Description

Intel is seeking a highly qualified candidate to join our Software Product Management Team, as the discrete GPU Software Product Manager. As part of Intel's Super Compute Group, you'll be at the center of a defining future of Compute and Visual Cloud SW stack, for discrete graphics products, for use in Datacenter markets. You will play a central role in defining and planning out all aspect of software for successful product launch.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Develop the comprehensive Software plans for Intel discrete GPU accelerator products spanning drivers, BIOS, operating systems, VMMs, other system software, developer tools, applications and ecosystem enabling
  • Closely work with Platform Software architects on product requirements document.
  • Monitor timely completion of Software architecture specs and reviews
  • Own and Drive software planning activities and pre-enabling plans from inception through Power-On
  • Proactively identify ambiguities/opens and drive one-voice software strategy and recommendations by working closely with senior technologists and stakeholders across multiple orgs
  • One voice to platform planning team on discreate GPU Platform Software
  • Platform participation and co-lead Software requirements creation with Strat planning
  • Drive pre-silicon plans and ensure closely aligned with platform milestones
  • Ensure appropriate cost estimation for the Platform across all Software team
  • Develop and drive pathfinding/tech-readiness plans for software visible technologies working with technical leaders
  • Develop and present the material for product software plans and strategic topics to senior management
  • Work with, and establish trust across a diverse array of stakeholders across different organizations
  • Conduct market research and software competitive analysis
  • Drive requirements grading in coordination with architecture and engineering
  • Schedule alignment with modeling/RTL teams
  • Working with engineering teams on feature staging and coming up with execution plan
  • Deliver planning checklist and hand-off package to execution lead, drive management reviews and sign-off

The position requires a solid combination of technical expertise and business acumen, ability to work effectively across functional and organizational boundaries and the ability to communicate effectively across customer, executive, and technical audiences. This person also needs to be perceived across multiple organizations as an action and results oriented individual.


Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must possess a technical degree or a Bachelor's degree Computer Science or related field. Must also have at least 10+ years experience in the computer industry and more than 5+ years in graphics software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA is a plus
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and product management

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado:
$130,190.00-$221,610.00

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need.
