Our System Architecture and Engineering team drives the platform solutions for Intel's entry into market segments served by high performance discrete graphics processors and hardware.
As a Lab Manager some of key responsibilities that you will help us with:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art facility to ensure we develop and deliver best in class graphics products to market.
- Support Research and development of next generation platform designs to continually improve our products.
- Enable system analysis on proprietary and competition platforms.
- Ensure that all aspects of the design and validation lab are operational for multiple teams and projects.
- Develop partnership with our other internal and external labs to drive collaborative development and validation.
- Oversee the purchase, deployment and maintenance of all lab equipment and materials to maintain and drive efficient execution of multiple projects in parallel.
- Management of contractors and outside parties that may be involved in our projects.
- Oversee delivery and oversee rework of all incoming systems and component for testing and validation.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum skills and experience:
Must have Engineering Technology Diploma with 5+ years of industry experience.
Your experience must be in the following:
- PC System or Product Validation.
- Experience with Electronics Lab Management.
- Working and managing relationships with equipment vendors and suppliers.
- Manage utilization of lab resources including resolve conflicting priorities and allocating access to space and equipment.
- Plan and forecast equipment and resource needs for upcoming projects.
Preferred skills and experience:
- Discrete Graphics Systems and Discrete Graphics Card.
- PCIE specification.
- GDDR memory devices.
- Multi project labs with concurrent programs.
- Maintaining and use of Thermal chambers.
- Maintaining and using high speed Signal analyzers and Oscilloscopes.
- Maintaining all equipment and chemicals to ensure Employee Health and Safety standards are met.

Work Model for this Role
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
