Job Description

This position is for an under-graduated student internship with Intel labs, the research group at Intel. Intel Labs is the company's world-class, industry leading research organization, responsible for driving Intel's technology pipeline and creating new opportunities. The mission of Intel Labs is to deliver breakthrough technologies to fuel Intel's growth. Intel Labs engages the leading thinkers in academia and industry in addition to partnering closely with Intel business units.

The internship will develop new principles and algorithms for the next generation of graphics. Of particular interest are new concepts, like neural rendering or new representation of 3D media for applications like the Metaverse. A strong interest in computer graphics, specifically games engines, scientific visualization and mathematical optimization methods is expected.


Qualifications

The position is open for students, enrolled in a Germany University in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related. The student should be a good team worker. Specific skills:

- Knowledge and interest in computer graphics
- Knowledge in Machine Learning and Neural Networks
- Basic or advanced knowledge in computer vision, computer graphic or image processing
- Good programming skills in C or C++ and scripting languages like Python
- Good mathematical knowledge

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
