Overview
The Manager of China Ground Operations will be responsible for coordinating Atlas activity in China with the CAAC requirements. Providing guidance to the company with regards to new and existing regulatory issues as well as maintaining and amending the CCAR 129. This individual will coordinate closely with the CAAC staff to foster a beneficial long term relationship and ensure compliance.
Responsibilities
- Add/remove/amend stations to 070 and 071 (sched vs. non sched)
- Add aircraft registration
- Add aircraft type
- Renew DG permit; Add charter; DG permit; Add PAX operation; 071 renewal
- Assist with charter application – follow-up on status and make correction/provide new items CAAC requested
- Confirm/coordinate current Ground Handling Agent contract valid for C071/070 airports and potential airports charter may operate at
- Arrange/Coordinate offline station training (ramp ops/de-icing) which may need for CCAR-129
- Coordinate Charter activity
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of extensive Airline operational experience
- Experience in B747/B767 passenger and cargo operations
- Able to perform all aspects of Ground and Cargo Operations including Loadmaster, handling hazardous materials, de-icing, fueling, catering, security, etc.
- Ability to organize and perform multiple assignments in high stress environment
- Ability to interact, communicate and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, customers in all levels of management
- Proven ability to lead and manage the activities of a diverse and work force
- Skilled problem solver with leadership qualities
- Excellent communication, decision and management skills
- College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
