Our client is a News Media Conglomerate, one of the market leaders in Greater China. It has been established for several decades. The circulation rate of the paper and digital news is one of the highest in the market. It is now seeking for the high calibre talent to take up the position as the Group Chief Financial Officer.

This position is supporting and driving the group strategy in partnership with the Group Chief Operating Officer and leading finance departments both in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the formulating of financial and operational strategies for whole Group of companies in order to complying with all legal and regulatory requirements for a Hong Kong listed company
• Closely manage the relationship with the HKEX, bankers, auditors and tax partners
• Manage processes for financial forecast, budget and report consolidation, reporting accurate financial results to the company
• Identify different business opportunities and potential risks based on various insightful financial analysis to stimulate the financial and operational performance of the Group of companies

Requirements

• Degree or above in Finance, Auditing or related disciplines
• CPA professional qualifications
• Proven experience as CFO in listing companies with in-depth knowledge of corporate law and risk management practices
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
• Fluent in Cantonese, English & Mandarin
• Based in Hong Kong and need travel to Taiwan (10%)
