Come join the Central Controllership Team as a Group Finance Manager supporting the Microsoft Human Resources (HR) team. HR is at the forefront of driving culture change at Microsoft and Finance has a seat at the table with the EVP of HR and her leadership team, as a strategic partner, to help the drive and influence execution against the HR core priorities. Your analysis will be instrumental in understanding cost drivers, driving long term planning, and influencing resource allocation decisions across the organization. In addition, you will be responsible for financial performance management, financial reporting and analysis, headcount management, planning, forecasting, budgeting, cost efficiency initiatives and accounting controls and compliance activities.
Responsibilities
You will provide business partner support and finance leadership for 2 Corporate Vice Presidents on the HR Leadership Team, who lead the Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) and Talent, Learning and Insights (TLI) organizations. In addition, you will lead our cross-team initiatives including planning, headcount management, forecasting, monthly close, team rhythms and special BI/analysis projects across HR.
Given the scope of this role, it comes with indirect managerial responsibility for one Finance Manager so is a great role for someone aspiring to become a manager who is looking for a way to begin building managerial skills.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 6+ years of demonstrated work experience in a finance, accounting or similar capacity
- BS/BA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Expert Excel user comfortable with advanced functions
