About The Role:
The Group Marketing & Communications Executive will report directly into our Senior Employee Communications and Experience Manager and will support the Corporate Development team, which comprises Group Strategy, Investor Relations, Marketing and PR, and Internal Communications. This role will oversee many aspects of strategic projects and work with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to support us in delivering our purpose of unlocking global understanding through informing and engaging our colleagues, living and breathing the RWS values across everything we do, growing the RWS brand footprint externally and accelerating customer advocacy.
RWS Division: Corporate Development
Corporate Development forms a significant part of RWS’s small head office. The team is responsible for setting strategy, direction and governance for the Group’s CX, brand, marketing, DX, internal and external communications, and investor relations. Corporate Development also leads on RWS’s M&A programme, and oversees group strategy development. The function uses insight at a group level to help inform decision making, messaging and positioning strategies that positively influence how our people, customers, investors and other stakeholders think and feel about RWS. The team seeks to position RWS as a unique thought leader in our field.
Responsibilities:
Internal Communications
* Oversee and develop internal communications channels to support group-wide campaigns (including the creation of intranet pages and supporting the deployment of Yammer)
* Help to amplify the organisation’s ‘One RWS’ culture programme across internal and external channels
* Provide writing support for internal communications being launched across the company, including the monthly all-colleague newsletter which reaches 7,500 people in 36 countries
* Partner with stakeholders to set up #GetCurious sessions for colleagues to learn more about various areas of the business
* Work with team to implement digital communications tools which support stronger, two-way dialogue and more user-generated content, and offer actionable, real-time metrics
* Support with the administration and documentation for two key communities - the Site Leaders and Senior Leadership Team
Marketing
* Own the RWS Group Marketing Hub intranet pages including content development and internal and external brand hub updates
* Own the customer and case study fact book, including supporting our Voice of Customer/sales enablement team in updating our internal communication resources
* Own our corporate fact book to support group-wide requirements, including investor relations, customer engagement, RFPs. Ensuring information is up to date across website, intranet etc.
External communications
* Assist in the administration of our corporate campaigns such as blog posting, podcast scheduling, and social media channel updates as required
* Assist in competitor monitoring for Global PR Manager
General
* Partner with our Creative Services Team for Marketing and Communications projects
* Maintain updates to the Corporate Development calendar and collate monthly reports
Requirements:
* 2-3 years+ in a similar marketing role, agency, or client experience
* Strong digital skills and ideally having experience working with internal digital platforms, such as Sharepoint and Yammer
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills that influence and engage internal stakeholders
* Comfortable working in an international environment
* Motivated and enthusiastic individual who is excited to work as part of a team and help support the progress of the Corporate Development function
