Background & Qualifications
- For permanent employees, having minimum 1 year of AZ experience,
- University degree from Medical Faculty
- Min. 4 years’ experience of Medical Affairs function in pharmaceutical industry
- Managerial role experience would be an asset
- Advanced command of written and spoken English
- Coaching & Feedback & Feedforward & Leadership skills
- Group facilitation and moderation skills
- Good at teamwork
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- No restriction to travel frequently and must have a valid driving license.

Summary Job Description
- To establish AstraZeneca as a scientific leader through proactive, updated and effective Medical input
- To engage scientific leaders, professional bodies or societies to establish AZ as a scientific leader
- Generate the medical evidence to support the brand strategies in priority TAs to meet unmet medical needs
- Provide medical expertise to shape regulatory environment to achieve rapid and high quality market access of AZ products including new registration, new product evaluation and life cycle
- Defines and delivers training on Medical background of the product for various functions in an organization as required
- Governance and ensuring overall adherence to processes and regulation [include but not limit to patient safety, clinical trials, promotional activities, etc …]
- Providing coaching for team members to help them achieve the targets defined in their individual development plans and supporting their development in order to ensure that they provide technical specialization and professionalism in their jobs
- Proactively identifying KEEs with high levels of scientific expertise in local treatment practice to collaborate on specific medico-marketing activities
