AP Accountant – GroupM, China

Overview of job
This position will be a dedicated person to handle all AP issues for one key clients

Reporting of the role

This role reports to the Finance Supervisor.

Measures of success –

In three months:

• Adapt to Agency working culture
• Independently deal with corresponding counter parties
• Proficiency in finance system and fully understand the financial process
• Independently prepare qualified financial reports

In six months:

• Independently respond all require for corresponding counter parties
• Identify key issues and prepare solution with timely report
• Build commercial sense and manage to prepare the financial reports independently

In 12 months:

• Independently manage all AP issues

Responsibilities of the role:

• Account payables

• Check system or manual PVI submitted by operation team, manage the status of all AP media job close (结卡), put through accounting record in finance system;
• Manage media vendor invoices and assist in prepare the payment plan to settle the media cost;
• Assist AP Supervisors in preparing media contracts and maintain contract registration;
• Assist in preparation on monthly reports both for internal and external

• GL

• Check to expenses claim including operation, staff reimbursement
• Prepare intercom settlement with counter party
• Put through transactions in finance system

• Others

• Daily cash records and payment
• Timesheet management
• Other ad-hoc
  

What you will need:

• Bachelor degree in finance or accounting;
• 1 years of experience, within adverting, media or marketing industries is preferred, fresh graduation with high potential would also being considered.
• Strong sense of responsibility, Logical thinking and detail oriented;
• Open-minded, self-motivated and fast learner, that could work under pressure;
• Strong communication skills and good in time management;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in EXCEL and WORD
• Good command in spoken and written English and CET 4 and above is required.
