Job Description:

  • Wear multiple hats to represent VOL Group and develop Corporate Partnerships, Event Sales and Guest Relationship Activities with customers
  • Source, book, and execute events that are profitable and ensure repeat business.
  • To develop leads and convert into long term customers into corporate partners through relationship building
  • To forecast and analyze the sales and meet targets
  • To work closely with Corporate Guest Relations Manager and outlet managers; to plan and manage guest relations, corporate partnership & event sales activities
  • To provide customer service to all stakeholders and guests, inclusive but not limited to updates on group activities and promotions etc.
  • Engage with guests on direct/personal meeting, trade show, via phone/mail and social media channels.
  • Presentation of professional image to guests, clients, partners and potential business.
  • To attend dinners, events and social gatherings with guests, clients, partners as well as concierge and agencies.
  • To present group portfolio to partners, peers and potential guests.
  • To manage Guest Concerns as needed
  • To assist with other ad hoc duties by Corporate Guest Relations Manager and team


Qualifications:

  • Must have bachelor degree, in relevant programme is a plus
  • 2+ years in Sales & Marketing role with high volume in the restaurant, hotel or tourism industry
  • Must have proven contacts in generating events and sales leads, such as PR and wedding agencies, and other corporate industry relationships
  • Strong negotiation skill, analytical and numeric ability.
  • To be able to multi-task and work well under pressure.
  • To be able to work in long hours.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and attitude for serving people and creating memorable events.
  • Multiple language abilities a plus, fluency in English & Mandarin required.
  • Demonstrates strong problem solving skills through ability to diagnose and implement solutions.
  • Tactful, helpful and positive personality in order to face guests and manage complaints
  • Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Powerpoint and Word
