WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Ensure compliance with ACCOR and SO/ Sotogrande procedures and standards.
  • Ensure that there is always a doorman or bell attendant at the door / lobby.  
  • Be fully knowledgeable of the services that the hotel offers and ensure that you are informed of all changes and developments.
  • Be familiar with all daily events and activities within the hotel and maintain a properly ordered desk.
  • Maintain a history of all relevant business folders and information.
  • Advise guests on points of interest in the surrounding area.
  • Ensure efficient and prompt handling of the delivery of all messages, mails and parcels within the hotel.
  • Be familiar with all services and information that customers may require.
  • Ensure that the desk, hotel entrances, luggage room and back office are kept clean at all times.
  • Ensure that all equipment is accounted for and functioning properly.
  • Ensure to follow VIP services such as escorting, VIP highlight, complaints handling and service recovery always informing the Guest Relations Manager or Manager on duty for approval.
  • Liaise with Front Office/Reception and Concierge to foresee future VIP arrivals and departures and Assist in the smooth operation of the shuttle service and ensure that information is relayed to all the team members.
  • Project and maintain the image of the highest standards within the hotel at any time.
  • Maintain friendly and cooperative working relationships with all other departments.
  • To be familiar with all guest services and information the customers may require. To assist guests in confirming airline tickets, making restaurant reservations, arranging tours and making transportation arrangements.
  • Communication with partnership companies for activities and offers, as well as documentation, contracts and reconciliations.
  • Comply with all Health and Safety legislation, using working practices that are safe and sensible to your colleagues and to yourself.

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE: 

  • High level of spoken and written English & Spanish
  • Knowledge of Windows and Office package is a plus, as well as OPERA.
  • Excellent knowledge of the surrounding area is a plus.
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours.
  • Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an intense, ever-changing environment while maintaining individual and collective team calm.
  • Experience of at least 2 year in the same or similar position is an asset.
