Job Description
  • Greet all guests with a smile and welcome within 30 seconds of their arrival at the SPA
  • Answer all telephone calls internal and external to the SPA within three rings and ensure that communication is as per Venetian service standard and level of service
  • Ensure that all reservations are taken without mistake and in their entirety at all times
  • Be fully conversant in the ‘’Book 4 Time’’ software system in accordance with your level of authority
  • To be able to fully explain and understand all treatments on the menu of SPA services and be able to recommend the most appropriate ones for the needs of our guests
  • Ensure that reservations are taken and made in accordance to the principle of column management.
  • Enforce and ensure that all policies and procedures of the SPA and hotel are understood 100% of the time
  • Be completely aware and knowledgeable of the SPA and its facilities and of all other facilities within the hotel
  • Promote and encourage sales of all retail items
  • Provide a warm service to all spa guests and hotel employees
  • Ensure that the SPA environment is preserved 100% of the time according to standard settings
  • Promote, cross sell, upsell and encourage sales of all spa treatments and retail
  • Ensure effective check out / departure procedure of guests including finalizing all guest bills
  • Assure all required forms and supplies are properly stocked and available at the front desk
  • Appear well groomed, wearing complete uniform with correct name tag in accordance with the policies and standards led out by the Venetian handbook
  • Strive constantly to reach the SPA’s treatment and retail goals
  • Strive constantly to reach the SPA’s membership goals
  • Strive constantly to reach the SPA’s promotions goals
  • Conduct retail inventory counts and report to SPA management any discrepancies or if you suspect theft of merchandise by a guest or employee
  • Ensure that there is effective communication between therapists and self to coordinate the arrival and departure of guests on a timely basis 100% of the time
  • Assist SPA attendants and therapists with the treatment room set up, ensuring that the spa set up standards are maintained at all times
  • Ensure that all flowers etc. used in the SPA are always fresh where required and in perfect condition
  • Ensure that all teas, juices and refreshments at the SPA reception are always well stocked at all times and in perfect, fresh condition
  • Ensure that 100% of all scheduled treatments begin no later than five minutes of the scheduled start time
  • Proactively and creatively resolve problems as they are identified and while the guest is still in the SPA 100% of the time. Inform Assistant SPA Manager / SPA Director in all cases of guest dis-satisfaction or problems
  • Observe the health and safety standards at all times
  • Submit valid suggestions for revenue enhancement, cost control, or safety improvements to immediate supervisor on a monthly basis
  • Adhere to the hotels cash count policy at all times
  • Assure during work shifts that retail sales and reception area is always perfectly presentable at all times
  • Set the example for peers and co-workers to display a positive, enthusiastic attitude in all situations within the hotel
  • Always smile and greet guests and property employees throughout the hotel in a friendly manner before they address you
  • Communication between guests, peers and management will be mature and professional at all times in accordance with the SPA environment
  • Adhere to all policies and regulations in accordance with the Parisian Hotel
  • Attend all meetings as set by the SPA management
  • Attend all meetings and events as set by the Hotel Management
  • Carry out other duties and tasks as assigned by the SPA management

Position Requirements
  • Secondary School
  • 1 – 2 years’ of experience in related area
  • Cleaning Skills
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin, Basic English
  • Fully conversant in Spa software
  • Word skills
  • Excel skills
