We are currently looking for a motivated Guest Service Agent to join our team!
Reporting to the Hotel Duty Managers, this is a hands on and fast-paced role responsible for delivering exceptional service throughout our guest’s journey from start to finish.
A day in the life of a Guest Service Agent consists of:
- Providing exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly, efficiently and courteously during check-in, check-out and throughout their stay.
- Creating and managing guest reservations, paying particular attention special requests and looking for opportunities to surprise and delight
- Participating in training and development programs to enhance one’s skills and capabilities.
- Promoting and up-selling hotel facilities through strong product knowledge.
- Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring procedures are followed in relation to guest confidentiality and the issuing of room keys.
- Maintaining procedures in relation to credit and cash transactions and accounting documentation.
- Running the night audit process including correctly posting all hotel's revenue for the day, accurately identifying discrepancies, and producing a complete night audit report thoroughly and accurately
To be successful in this role, you will have unlimited work rights in Australia and will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and public holidays as per our business demands. You have a passion for the Hospitality Industry and are committed to delivering high levels of customer service. Experience with Opera is preferred.
