Job Description

A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests. Provides prompt and courteous service. Checks guest out of the hotel. Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay in our hotel. Upgrades guests, as required. Promotes hotel services, amenities and upsells products to the guests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

 

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, you would be responsible for greeting and registering guests. Providing prompt and courteous service. Checking guest out of the hotel. Resolving guest challenges throughout their stay in our hotel. Upgrading guests, as required. Promoting hotel services, amenities and upselling products to the guests. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

 

  • Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. 
  • Respond to guest inquiries and in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Provide driving and/or walking directions to guests to local destinations
  • Ensure a high level of product knowledge of the hotel, including, but not limited to, directions, hours of outlet operation, hotel services, hotel events and local and community events and attractions
  • Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships
  • Provide or obtain accurate information
