Guest Service Agent (Reception)
First impressions are everything! As a Guest Service Agent, you will take care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure by ensuring they have a memorable experience with us.

Novotel Melbourne Glen Waverley is a successful 4.5 star hotel comprising 200 guest rooms, restaurant/bar &  conference facilities, situated in a bustling business district and at the gateway of the Dandenong Ranges.

What you will be doing:

  • Greet, check-in, respond to requests and settle accounts while providing exceptional servic
  • Professionally greet all guests that attend to the hotel, including visitors to our conference & events and Urban Citizen Restaurant & Bar.
  • Effectively manage all guest requests  whilst ensuring a smooth running of reception.
  • Promote and drive Accor’s loyalty programs.
  • Manage guest accounts, check-ins, check-outs and reservation calls.
  • High focus on Accor Loyalty guests and VIP’s.

 

Your experience and skills include:

  • High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy.
  • Ability to actively attend to all types of guest feedback.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to be hands on.
  • Previous experience with Opera PMS, an advantage.
  • Previous experience in customer service essential, preferably in a similar setting.
  • Be available to work a rotating 7 day roster, including weekends and public holidays
