Job Description

Job Title:

The Guest Service Center Agent is responsible for dealing with guest requests and complaints in a pleasant, charming and professional manner to both internal and external guests. Under the general guidance of the Guest Service Centre Manager - the agent’s tasks are to provide a prompt and satisfactory resolution of any enquiry, request, problem or complaint from internal and external guests of the hotel.

What you will be doing:

  • Answers incoming calls.
  • Directs call to guest rooms, staff, or departments through the switchboard or PBX system.
  • Places outgoing calls.
  • Receives guest messages and deliver the same to the guest.
  • Logs all wake-up call requests and performs wake-up call services.
  • Provides information about hotel services to guests.
  • Understand the telephone operator board or PBX switchboard operations.
  • Knows what action to take when an emergency call is required.
  • Assists in reporting telephone equipment or service complaints and problems.
  • Trains or assists with training new telephone operators in performance of job duties.
  • To be fully aware of and adhere of health and safety, fire and bomb threat procedures.

Your experience and skills include:

  • A suitable degree in Hospitality Management or any relevant field.
  • 1 year experience in Rooms or related professional area within a luxury hotel
  • English language is a must 
  • GSCA’s are extremely well groomed, natural and charming, very friendly and always professional
