Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing a seamless and exceptional guest arrival and departure experience.
  • Facilitates the smooth and efficient operation of the Front Entrance, Bell Desk and Valet Parking, ensuring the highest level of guest service is provided in accordance with The Fairmont Hotels core standards.
  • Handles all guest inquiries and comments, follows‑up in a diplomatic and efficient manner.
  • Seeks feedback and recommendation on guest satisfaction, employee experience and morale.
  • Developing and overseeing the implementation of all training needs for The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Bell Desk, Front Entrance and Valet Parking.
  • To perform with integrity any emergency and general crisis situation procedures.
  • To ensure that all employees both work in a safe manner and have a safe environment in which to work.
  • To maintain, processes and distributes to all Uniformed Services employees’ hotel information i.e., functions, luggage transfers, as they become available.
  • Performance management and colleague reviews.
  • Compliance with all safety regulations of assigned tasks, and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the hotel health and safety program.
  • Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
  • Other reasonable duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate colleagues is key to consideration of your application
  • Two years leadership experience is preferred
  • Excellent working knowledge of Property Manager, Word and EXCEL
  • Excellent: written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be flexible with regards to the work schedule.
  • Must possess the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while and maintaining the highest quality of guest service.
  • Train-the-Trainer, Interaction Management, Skill Builders, and a Safety Program certificate a definite asset.
  • Valid Class 4 drivers licence, with clear driving record.

 

Visa Requirements: Applicant must hold the proper work authorization to be legally eligible to work in Canada.
