Healthcare Information Solutions (HCIS) Junior IT Specialist

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be responsible for testing, servicing and supporting Hospital PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), RIS (Radiology Information System), VNA (Vendor Neutral Archiving) solutions and their related IT layers such as hardware, network, infrastructure, operating system, database and applications.

You are a part of

the Europe, Middle East and Africa HCIS (Healthcare Information Solutions) Services Team based in Genoa.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Physics or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

• IT skills such as: Windows OS including servers and storage solutions, Networking, Database (Oracle preferred), SQL, virtualization solutions (e.g. HyperV), IT Security Policies and Standards, IT system architectures, scripting languages (Perl, Powershell, Python)

• Computer Programming Experience

• Troubleshooting skills on different levels (application, database, OS, hardware, networking, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; self-starter and proactive attitude; acumen on understanding complex workflow requirements

• Previous experience of working within the Healthcare IT industry is a plus

• Italian mother tongue and Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
