Job Description

The Teppanyaki Head Chef will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen management and development of the menus in the new upcoming teppanyaki project of Black Sheep Restaurants while working closely with owners and executive chef. He/she should have prior experience as a Teppanyaki head Chef, knowledge and experience with Japanese cuisine specially Teppanyaki and Sushi, special teppanyaki techniques and a firm understand of the International markets.

Specific responsibilities include maintaining high quality and consistency for all food, menu and recipe development, staff hiring and training.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of cooking experience with over 5 years’ experience in Teppanyaki style cooking
  • Experience working in famous and well-known Restaurants
  • Previous experience creating own dishes and curating menus
  • 3+ year of working experience in Management positions
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Must be a high level Teppanyaki performer
  • Superior English written and oral communications skills
  • Experience in Staff Training and leading large team (20+)
  • Strong understanding of Teppanyaki cuisine and culture

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25,000.00 to $30,000.00 /month
