Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.

Position Description                                                                                                        

Purpose of the Position:
• This position mainly focuses on plant fixed asset but also involve some cost management, process improvement and OOB management.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
• Plant fixed assets management and project expense control
• Implement fixed assets and project expense process and ensure compliance with Corp. policy
• Ensure accurate monthly closing for plant fixed assets and provide timely accounts reconciliation
• Provide accurate rolling forecast and variation analysis actual vs. budget/forecast
• Support five-year plan and annual budget
• Support capital spending analysis, support and control activity
• Support some expense accrue, analysis and control
• Support OOB (Out of balance for interco AR/AP) reconciliation and tracking
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Reporting Structure:
Requirements: Education & Experience (please state MUST and PLUS requirements)
• Bachelor degree of Accounting or related major
• 2-3 years’ experience in manufacturing field
• CPA or ACCA or CMA is preferred

Requirements: Required Skills                                               

• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and processes
• Ability to communicate in both Chinese & English fluently and effectively
• Experience with PeopleSoft/Oracle/SAP is preferred
• Proficiency in Excel
