The school invites experienced educational leaders to apply for the position of HKDSE Coordinator, starting in August 2020. 

CSS was established in 2006 at the very start of the HKDSE programme. The programme is well established with 13 elective subjects. The HKDSE coordinator reports to the Director of Learning and works closely with key leaders in curriculum and student development teams to ensure high quality learning through all the courses offered.

This is a position for which the following are essential:

• A recognised teaching qualification i.e. PGDE or equivalent
• Strong understanding of the HKDSE programme framework and underlying educational rationale
• Proven track record of pedagogical and team leadership
• Ability to form and work in highly collaborative teams
• Demonstrated understanding and application of the quality assurance models, including processes of PIE and programme evaluation
• Strong level of fluency in English

This is a position for which the following are preferred: 

• Ability to teach more than one subject including English
• Communicative fluency in Cantonese
• Understanding of the IB Middle Years Programme and Hong Kong junior secondary curriculum
