Lenovo also holds the maximum installations in the Top 500 Super Position Description As Lenovo continues to enhance its leadership position in the High Performance Computing & Artificial Intelligence (HPC & AI) segment, we are seeking a leader to scale this business in the dynamic Asia Pacific region. The candidate will be responsible to accelerate the growth of the HPC & AI business in Asia Pacific through a clear strategy and inspirational leadership. In this role, you will lead teams who influence customers to leverage Lenovo’s HPC & AI solutions to power their technology outcomes. The person and their team will be expected to work closely with our various alliance and channel partners to ensure that the required certifications and application optimisations are done on Lenovo platforms as needed. This is an exciting opportunity to lead some of the best technology sales and pre-sales practitioners in this space. This role will require you to understand the unique needs of customers in the segments of EDA, Life Sciences, Weather, CAE and also corporate customers requiring general purpose HPC & AI solutions and bring innovation and adoption of Lenovo’s offerings. You will be responsible for developing opportunity pipelines, evangelizing HPC & AI, and driving revenue and user adoption for this important group of customers. You will be expected to build and execute scalable sales motions to acquire new customers – particularly in the area of AI and Life Sciences. The position reports to the AP President for Datacenter Group with a dotted line reporting to the WW Executive Director for HPC/AI Segment. #### Position Requirements: Key Responsibilities • Drive HPC & AI business of Lenovo in the Asia Pacific market for Revenue, Share and Profit growth • Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets • Define and execute Go-To-Market Strategy and relevant Sales plays to meet Revenue and profit goals • Work with ISVs to secure the best outcome for our Clients on the Lenovo HPC & AI offerings • Should have strong customer and partner connect in the region to establish themselves as a trusted advisor for HPC & AI • Participates in deep-dive discussions and evaluates customer's business needs and desired end-state solution that translates into an HPC / AI proposal • Stay up-to-date with Lenovo and competitive HPC offerings. Ability to persuasively articulate the HPC & AI landscape and Lenovo story in Industry, Client and Channel forums • Works with relevant Marketing teams to define the demand generation and brand visibility for Lenovo HPC &AI for the region • Assists with development of training and development plans for HPC & AI for the general and channel sellers Skills • At least 5 years of leadership experience in the HPC & AI industry with solid business and technical understanding of HPC & AI solutions • Good understanding of the various EDA, Life Sciences, CAE, and Weather customers and market dynamics • Experience with AI is a significant advantage • Strong communication, project management and ability to work well with diverse cross border/culture/teams. • Strong Oral and Written communication • Logical and analytical thinking coupled with strong communication and presentation skills • Ability to perform independently, hands on and to work well in a team environment • Able to translate strategic objectives into business plan We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
