We would expect you to work effectively in providing onsite technical services in the areas of Lenovo HPC & AI platforms and solutions. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the HPC solution at customer sites, involving Server, Storage, Network, Power and Cooling, OS, and cluster management software. The job responsibilities involve ability to lead a small, technical group of consultants within a Professional Service offering on a project basis. Provides mentorship and oversight to others during deployments. Standardizes and continually improves customer experience for an offering. Able to assist in pre-sales activities and refine offerings as needed. Proven ability to solve difficult customer escalations. Our ideal candidate possess strong customer interaction skills and ability to make technical decisions. Collaborate during projects with several organization verticals, partners, and customers. Develop training and knowledge base documentation for technical skills throughout career. Organization You will be part of a global HPC team supporting customers around the world. You will participate in weekly collaborative planning calls and meetings. You will report to Global Director - DCG WW Professional Services, based in UK. #### Position Requirements: Applicant should already have or be willing to undertake DV or SC clearance. • 5+ years experience in field • Linux (i.e.. Suse, RHEL & CentOS) • HPC cluster manager & Job scheduling for example, Slurm, IBM Spectrum LSF (used by client), MOAB or equivalent • Parallel filesystem like GPFS/Lustre/Ceph/BeeGFS • HPC system troubleshooting and support • HPC cluster availability and performance monitoring with Icinga, Grafana, etc • x86 server installation, troubleshooting and performance tuning. Knowledge on • Ethernet, InfiniBand, RDMA and OPA network technologies • CPU/GPU/memory/RAID/storage/Data Center technologies. • Parallel programming like MPI, open MP, CUDA • Performance analysis/ tuning of Lenovo System x servers.
