The Product Engineer's role is to support High Performance Computing related projects to enhance Calibre performance on customer's cluster and Cloud environments while working closely with the field teams, through close interaction with the customers and strong collaboration with various engineering teams internally. The Product Engineer's core activities include but not limited to the following: Key Responsibilities: Benchmark and publish Calibre platform in various HPC environments as needed Publish best practices and recommended HW/cluster configurations for Calibre Support field and interact with customers on cluster environment and HW configuration to optimize Calibre applications Help define requirements and directions for Calibre related to HPC Help design and implement practical HPC related solutions for Calibre applications Technology and knowledge transfer to broader Calibre teams Review and publish key trending HPC technology through independent literature research and by attending relevant technical conferences Identify opportunities and strategies on the HPC technology Collaborate with various HW/Cloud vendors to capture unique values for Calibrec Job Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience: Knowledge of or courses taken in electronic design automation, Photomask or semiconductor lithography and/or semiconductor manufacturing. One or more years of industry experience is desirable. Demonstrated ability and strong desire to learn and explore new technologies and programming methodologies. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills. Experience in an High Performance Computing environment with job scheduler such as LSF or grid, GPU and other acceleration technologies, and Cloud / Container use cases C/C++, Python, TCL or any high level programming language; LINUX operating system along with shell scripting Solid understanding of various HPC concepts such as distributed processing and multi-threading, and HPC components such as compute, network and storage, or modern computer architecture Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government.
