What You’ll Do: Lenovo is expanding its already strong HPC/AI team to lead the next generation of HPC programming models and systems. To achieve our mission, we are seeking a results-oriented and innovative HPC Software Specialist primarily focused on Intel’s oneAPI product suite to help us execute on our mission. This high impact role requires a combination of technical knowledge of HPC architecture and software technology along with strong business acumen in understanding client needs.  The right candidate for this newly created role will be responsible for understanding HPC software architecture, client workloads and requirements for utilizing Intel OneAPI software libraries and tools, as well as assisting with optimizing code and benchmarking. Responsibilities: • Serve as Lenovo’s customer-facing Subject Matter Expert on Intel OneAPI HPC software technology. • Work with clients to optimize performance of OneAPI-based workloads, utilizing Intel analyzer and debugger tools. • Work closely our HPC benchmarking team to ensure coverage of HPC activity across various geographies, including workload benchmarking and performance analysis activities. • Contribute to Lenovo’s HPC software strategy. • Ability to effectively interact and communicate with IT managers, BU personnel to senior management. • Assist with technical product marketing activity including event demo support, and technical resources to support customer briefings. #### Position Requirements: Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable degree. • Prior knowledge of data center software infrastructure including Linux administration and orchestration software. • Strong programming skills, including coding and compiling with python, c, c++. • Experience with developing presentations in PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications: • 5+ years of industry experience in IT, preferably in an HPC environment. • Previous experience with Intel Parallel Studio, Intel Compilers, and Intel MKL. • Hands-on experience in HPC applications with a strong understanding of Linux, SLURM, compute, storage, Infiniband and HPC applications. • Strong presentation skills for both external and internal engagements. • Innovative and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment Why Lenovo?
